What’s inside
The first hour, then your situation.
Part One is the same for everyone and takes four pages. Part Two splits by what happened, so you read only your own. Parts Three and Four close the remaining doors and work through the reporting.
Part One
The First Hour
Email, then your password manager, then your phone, then your money. Your email is worth more than your bank login, because every password reset in your life ends there.
Part Two
By Situation
Card fraud, email takeover, a social account, a SIM swap, identity theft. Read the one that happened to you and skip the rest.
Part Three
Lock It Down
Forwarding rules, active sessions, recovery settings and trusted devices. The quiet things somebody leaves behind so they can come back.
Part Four
Report & Recover
Who to tell, in what order, what each one will ask for, and how to keep the records that win a dispute.
Also included
The four stages every breach moves through, so you know what to protect first · what they are after, which is access rather than money · the one thing to do before you read anything else if money is moving right now · and what to write down while it is happening.

Questions
Something is happening right now. Where do I start?
Page five, and it takes four pages. If money is moving this minute, call the number on the back of your card first, not a number from an email or a search result, and then come back.
Is this only for people who got hacked?
No. It covers a card charge you did not make, a link you should not have clicked, a friend asking why you sent that message, a phone number that stopped working, and full identity theft. Most people arrive with the small version.
Will this tell me how to get my money back?
It tells you who to report to, in what order, what each one asks for, and how to keep records, which is what disputes are won with. What you recover depends on your bank and how fast you move.
What do I get, and how?
A PDF, delivered the moment you pay. The link appears on screen and arrives by email as well. No account, no login, no app, and the file is yours to keep and print.
Can I get a refund?
Digital downloads are final sale. Once the file has been delivered there’s no way to return it, and this is a small business protecting work that took thousands of hours to make. If your download doesn’t arrive, or the file won’t open, reply to your receipt and we’ll sort it out. And if you read the whole thing and think it was worthless, write and tell us. That sits outside our policy and we don’t make a habit of it, but we’re not going to argue with you about a PDF.
