Not Sure Where to Start With Your Digital Life? Begin With a Free 15-Minute Consultation
This brief, welcoming conversation can help you identify what needs attention and choose a practical next step.
Your digital life rarely becomes complicated all at once. Accounts accumulate. Files end up in several places. Email becomes difficult to manage. Devices are replaced, passwords change, recovery information becomes outdated, and important records are stored without a clear plan for finding them again.
You may know that something needs attention without knowing where to begin.
Should you start with your email, files, photos, passwords, account security, emergency information, or plans for the future? Do you need personalized guidance, or could you make progress independently with the right course or resource?
Often, the hardest part is not doing the work. It is determining what deserves your attention first.
That is why I release a limited number of free 15-minute consultations each week. These introductory conversations help new clients clarify what they need, ask questions, and identify a useful next step in their Digital Life Management process.
What Is a Free 15-Minute Consultation?
A free consultation is a short conversation held online through Google Meet. You do not need to know which service or course you need before booking. You are welcome to arrive with a specific question, a general concern, or a digital situation that has become difficult to manage.
During our conversation, we can:
Discuss the area of your digital life that needs attention
Clarify what may be contributing to the problem
Identify an appropriate place to begin
Answer questions about Haven Smith & Company
Discuss whether a free resource, course, paid session, or workshop would be most useful
The purpose is to help you leave with greater clarity about your next step.
Because the consultation is brief, we will focus on understanding your needs and determining a direction. Hands-on planning, individualized recommendations, and guided work are available through paid Digital Life Strategy Sessions.
New clients may book one free consultation.
What Can You Bring to the Conversation?
Digital Life Management includes the everyday systems, information, accounts, devices, responsibilities, and plans that make up your digital life. Your concern does not need to fit neatly into one category before we speak.
You might book a consultation because:
Your email, computer, cloud storage, or digital files have become difficult to manage.
Your photos and important records are scattered across devices and accounts.
You are concerned about passwords, account recovery, identity protection, or digital safety.
You want to make sure someone you trust could find important information during an emergency.
You are helping an aging parent manage digital accounts and records.
You are preparing for a move, career change, divorce, death, caregiving responsibility, or another significant life event.
You are unsure which Digital Life Management course applies to your situation.
You are deciding whether you would benefit from a paid strategy session.
You are exploring a Digital Life Management workshop for your business, professional practice, or organization.
You do not need to organize anything before the consultation. You also do not need to prepare a complete inventory of your accounts, devices, or records. Bring the question, concern, or situation that prompted you to begin.
What Can We Accomplish in 15 Minutes?
Fifteen minutes is enough time to establish direction, but it is not intended to resolve an entire digital problem.
We will generally begin with the concern that feels most important to you. I may ask a few questions to understand what is happening, what you have already tried, and what you would like to make more organized, protected, prepared, or manageable.
From there, we can identify a practical next step.
That recommendation will depend on your circumstances. You may benefit from beginning with a free resource, completing a course independently, booking a paid session, or taking a broader approach through the complete Digital Life Management System.
The consultation is not an obligation to purchase anything. Sometimes the most useful next step is to begin with the free Digital Organization Guide, an Organize With Me video, or a short session using the Focus Timer.
How Should You Prepare?
You only need to consider three things before we meet:
What part of your digital life currently needs the most attention?
What would you like to make easier, safer, or more manageable?
What questions do you have about your options or working with Haven Smith & Company?
Please do not share passwords, verification codes, complete financial account numbers, or other sensitive credentials during the consultation. I will never ask you to provide them.
Your Google Meet link will be included in your confirmation and reminder emails.
What Might Your Next Step Be?
There is no single starting point that works for everyone. Your next step should reflect the kind of help you need, how quickly you want to begin, and whether you prefer guided or independent work.
Begin With a Free Resource
The free Digital Organization Guide introduces a practical method for organizing accounts, files, devices, and digital records. It can help you begin making progress immediately while also adding you to the Haven Smith & Company mailing list for future resources and availability updates.
The Start Here page also includes short Organize With Me videos and a Focus Timer for completing manageable five-, 10-, or 15-minute digital tasks.
Work Independently With a Course
If you prefer to move through the material on your own, you can choose the course that best matches your current priority:
The Digital Organization Course focuses on accounts, files, email, photos, devices, cloud storage, and important records.
The Digital Safety Course focuses on protecting identity, access, devices, recovery methods, and important digital information.
The Digital Legacy & Estate Planning Course focuses on continuity, emergency access, trusted people, important records, and preparing digital information for the future.
The Digital Life Management System Course Bundle includes all three courses for a more complete approach.
Book a Paid Digital Life Strategy Session
A paid 30-minute Digital Life Strategy Session provides more time for personalized guidance, questions, planning, and recommendations.
You do not need to complete a free consultation before booking a paid session. If you already know that you would like individualized help—or if you would like to meet sooner—you can book a paid session directly.
Explore a Workshop
Businesses, professional practices, and community organizations can also use the consultation to ask preliminary questions about Digital Life Management workshops.
Workshops provide structured education in Digital Organization, Digital Safety, or Digital Legacy and Estate Planning. A complete workshop series is also available for organizations seeking all three areas.
Why Are the Free Consultations Limited?
I release a small number of free consultations each week so I can offer this introductory support while preserving time for existing clients, paid sessions, workshops, courses, and educational resources.
Availability may change as my client calendar fills. Limiting the number of appointments also allows each consultation to remain a focused and personal conversation.
If you see an available time that works for you, you are welcome to book it.
What If Appointments Are Full?
If no appointments are available—or if the available dates and times do not work for you—select JOIN WAITLIST below the scheduling calendar.
Joining the waitlist records your interest in a future opening as additional appointments become available. You can also check the scheduling page again when new weekly appointments are released.
While you wait, you can download the free Digital Organization Guide and begin making progress. Joining the mailing list will also help you receive updates about future resources and availability.
If you would like personalized help sooner, you can book a paid 30-minute Digital Life Strategy Session. If you prefer to work independently, you can begin with an individual course or the complete course bundle.
You Only Need to Choose the Next Step
You do not have to organize, protect, and prepare every part of your digital life at once. You also do not need to understand every available option before asking for help.
A clear starting point and one practical next step can begin making your digital responsibilities more manageable.
If a free consultation is available, I would be glad to meet with you. If the current appointments are full, please join the waitlist for a future opening. You can also begin today with the free Digital Organization Guide, a paid Digital Life Strategy Session, or one of the Digital Life Management courses.
