One session can help you move forward with greater clarity while remaining fully in control of your pace and decisions.

BEFORE YOUR SESSION

After booking, you will receive a short questionnaire so your Digital Life Strategy Advisor can better understand your goals, priorities, and where you are in your Digital Life Management journey. No extensive preparation is required. Think about the questions you would most like to address and any decisions, projects, or changes you would like to discuss. Your session may be scheduled at any point before it expires.

SESSION POLICIES

Can I reschedule my session?

Yes. You are welcome to reschedule your session with at least 24 hours’ notice at no additional charge. Because the appointment time is reserved specifically for you, a request made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be treated as a late cancellation. Rescheduling does not extend the session expiration date. Your session must still be completed within 90 days of purchase.

What happens if I cancel at the last minute or do not attend?

A cancellation made with less than 24 hours’ notice or a no-show appointment is considered a completed session and cannot be refunded, credited, or rescheduled. We understand that genuine emergencies happen. If an unexpected emergency prevents you from attending, please contact us as soon as possible. Emergency exceptions are reviewed individually and granted solely at Haven Smith & Company’s discretion.

What if I am running late?

Please notify your Digital Life Strategy Advisor as soon as possible. Your advisor will use the remaining scheduled time as effectively as possible. Because appointments are reserved for a specific period, the session will still end at its originally scheduled time and cannot be extended.

When does my session expire?

Your session expires 90 days after purchase. The expiration period provides reasonable scheduling flexibility while encouraging you to book the session and address your priorities while they are still current. An expiration date is not extended because of rescheduling, changes in availability, or an unused appointment.

BOOK YOUR SESSION

You do not need to wait for an emergency or major life transition to receive personalized guidance.

A Digital Life Strategy Session can help you decide where to begin, work through a current priority, review your progress, or maintain the Digital Life Management System™ as your life changes.

Whether you are beginning the Initial Cleanup phase, working through the courses, or completing a quarterly or annual review, we will focus the conversation on the questions and decisions that matter most to you.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Should I book one session or a package?

One session is a strong choice when you want focused guidance around a specific question, decision, review, or set of priorities.

The three-session package is designed for clients who want regular guidance, with a recommended monthly cadence during the Initial Cleanup phase. The twelve-session package provides the highest level of support, with a recommended weekly cadence.

Do I need to take the courses before booking?

No. You may book a session before beginning the courses, while working through them, or after completing the Initial Cleanup phase. Your advisor will meet you wherever you are in your Digital Life Management journey.

Can I book a session while completing a course?

Yes. Many clients work through a course independently and use a strategy session to review progress, ask questions, discuss decisions, and receive personalized guidance.

Can I use this session for a quarterly or annual review?

Yes. After completing the Initial Cleanup phase, we recommend meeting with a Digital Life Strategy Advisor at least quarterly to review changes, update your Digital Life Management Workbook™, and keep your records, protections, and plans current.

Can my spouse or another family member attend?

Yes. You are welcome to invite one spouse, partner, family member, caregiver, or another person directly involved in your Digital Life Management planning.

What happens if I need more support afterward?

You may book another individual session or choose a three- or twelve-session package, depending on the level and cadence of guidance you would find most helpful.

HOW THESE SESSIONS FIT INTO THE DIGITAL LIFE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM™

Guided Implementation That Fits Your Life

The Digital Life Management System™ is built around a three-month Initial Cleanup phase followed by long-term maintenance.

Many clients choose the 3-session package because they want regular guidance while implementing the system—not simply learning it.

For the best experience, we generally recommend meeting once per month while working through the Initial Cleanup phase. Monthly conversations provide an opportunity to review progress, answer questions, refine recommendations, and determine the next priorities for each month of the process.

However, your sessions are yours to schedule in whatever way best fits your goals, priorities, and availability. You may meet monthly, schedule the sessions closer together, or use them around specific milestones and projects.

The Digital Life Management System™ provides the framework. Your Digital Life Strategy Advisor provides personalized guidance whenever you need it.

WHY CHOOSE THREE SESSIONS?

Regular Guidance Throughout Your Initial Cleanup

Building a well-managed digital life takes time. The three-session package allows you to make progress independently while still having an advisor available at important points throughout the process.

With three sessions, you’ll receive:

✓ A personalized Digital Life Management roadmap

✓ Guidance throughout the Initial Cleanup phase

✓ Support while completing the Digital Life Management courses

✓ Digital Life Management Workbook™ guidance

This package is ideal if you...

✓ Want regular guidance while completing the Digital Life Management System™

✓ Prefer monthly accountability while working independently between meetings

✓ Want personalized feedback as your questions evolve

✓ Value time to implement recommendations before each check-in

✓ Appreciate having an advisor available during the Initial Cleanup phase

✓ Want support without committing to weekly sessions

✓ Prefer making steady progress instead of trying to do everything at once

✓ Want confidence before transitioning into long-term maintenance

COMMON WAYS CLIENTS USE THREE SESSIONS

Many clients schedule one session during each month of the Initial Cleanup phase. Common examples include:

  • Establishing a personalized roadmap before beginning

  • Reviewing progress during Digital Organization

  • Reviewing progress during Digital Safety

  • Reviewing progress during Digital Legacy & Estate Planning

  • Building the Digital Life Management Workbook™

  • Organizing the Emergency Information Record™

  • Asking questions that arise during implementation

  • Preparing for quarterly and annual maintenance

WHY CLIENTS CHOOSE THREE SESSIONS

The greatest benefit of the three-session package isn’t simply having additional meetings. It’s having time to implement recommendations between conversations while knowing that another opportunity for personalized guidance is already available.

Monthly sessions encourage steady progress while giving you the independence to complete the work at your own pace. Each conversation builds on the last, helping your Digital Life Management System™ take shape throughout the Initial Cleanup phase.

BEFORE YOUR FIRST SESSION

After booking, you’ll receive a short questionnaire so your Digital Life Strategy Advisor can better understand your goals, priorities, and where you are in your Digital Life Management journey.

Together, we’ll discuss the best way to use your three sessions.

For the best experience, we recommend meeting once per month during the three-month Initial Cleanup phase. This creates a natural check-in point as you move through Digital Organization, Digital Safety, and Digital Legacy & Estate Planning.

However, your sessions are yours to schedule in whatever way best fits your life, provided they are completed before the expiration date.

SESSION POLICIES

Can I reschedule my sessions?

Yes. You’re welcome to reschedule a session with at least 24 hours’ notice at no additional charge. Because appointment times are reserved specifically for you, requests made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be treated as late cancellations. Rescheduling does not extend the package expiration date. All three sessions must still be completed within six months of purchase.

What happens if I cancel at the last minute or don’t attend?

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice and no-show appointments are considered completed sessions and cannot be refunded, credited, or rescheduled.

We understand that genuine emergencies happen. If an unexpected emergency prevents you from attending, please contact us as soon as possible. Emergency exceptions are reviewed individually and granted solely at Haven Smith & Company’s discretion.

What if I’m running late?

If you’re running late, please notify your Digital Life Strategy Advisor as soon as possible. Your advisor will use the remaining scheduled time as effectively as possible. Because appointments are reserved for a specific period, the session will still end at its originally scheduled time and cannot be extended.

When do my sessions expire?

All three sessions expire six months after purchase. We recommend using one session per month during the three-month Initial Cleanup phase. The six-month expiration gives you additional flexibility for vacations, work demands, illness, and other scheduling interruptions while encouraging you to book your sessions and continue making progress.

Unused sessions expire at the end of the six-month period. Expiration dates are not extended because of rescheduling, changes in availability, or unused appointments.

BOOK YOUR SESSIONS

Building a well-managed digital life doesn’t happen all at once. The 3-session package is designed for people who want regular personalized guidance while implementing the Digital Life Management System™ over the course of the Initial Cleanup phase.

You’ll have time to complete meaningful work independently between meetings, then return to your advisor to review progress, address new questions, and determine your next priorities.

After completing the Initial Cleanup phase, many clients continue scheduling Digital Life Strategy Sessions as needed—or at least quarterly—to review changes, update their Digital Life Management Workbook™, and keep their Digital Life Management System™ current as life evolves.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Why should I choose three sessions instead of one?

One session is a strong choice when you want focused guidance on a specific question, decision, or set of priorities. Three sessions provide regular support throughout the Initial Cleanup phase. Why should I choose twelve sessions instead of three?

The three-session package is ideal for people who want monthly guidance while working independently between meetings. The twelve-session package provides a higher level of support, with a recommended weekly cadence, more frequent accountability, and additional opportunities to receive guidance as questions arise.

Do I have to meet once per month?

No. We recommend one session per month because it aligns naturally with the three-month Initial Cleanup phase. However, your sessions are yours to schedule in whatever way best fits your priorities and availability, provided all three are completed within six months of purchase.

Should I complete the courses while using these sessions?

Yes. Many clients work through the Digital Life Management courses between meetings, then use their sessions to review progress, ask questions, and receive personalized guidance tailored to their own digital lives.

Can my spouse or another family member attend?

Yes. You’re welcome to invite one spouse, partner, family member, caregiver, or another person directly involved in your Digital Life Management planning.

Rather than trying to organize your digital life all at once, you'll make steady, practical progress while receiving personalized guidance throughout the Initial Cleanup phase.

Many clients tell us that the accountability of meeting regularly is just as valuable as the recommendations themselves.

BEFORE YOUR FIRST SESSION

After booking, you'll receive a short questionnaire so your Digital Life Strategy Advisor can better understand your goals, priorities, and where you are in your Digital Life Management journey.

Together, we'll discuss the best way to use your twelve sessions.

For the best experience, we recommend meeting weekly while completing the Initial Cleanup phase. Most clients complete this work over approximately three months.

However, your sessions are yours to schedule however best fits your life.

What happens if I cancel at the last minute or don't attend?

To respect everyone's time, cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice and no-show appointments are generally considered completed sessions and cannot be refunded or rescheduled. We understand that genuine emergencies happen. If an unexpected emergency prevents you from attending, please contact us as soon as possible. Emergency situations are reviewed individually at our discretion.

What if I'm running late?

If you're running late, please let your Digital Life Strategy Advisor know as soon as possible.n We'll use the remaining scheduled time as effectively as possible. Because appointments are scheduled back-to-back, sessions will still end at their originally scheduled time.

When do my sessions expire?

To encourage steady progress, all twelve sessions expire six months after purchase. Most clients complete the Initial Cleanup phase in approximately three months by meeting weekly. The six-month expiration provides flexibility for vacations, work schedules, and life's unexpected interruptions while helping maintain the momentum needed to complete your Digital Life Management System™.

BOOK YOUR SESSIONS

Building a well-managed digital life doesn't happen all at once. The twelve-session package is designed for people who want consistent guidance while implementing the Digital Life Management System™ from beginning to end.

Whether you choose to meet weekly or follow another schedule, we'll work together to organize, protect, prepare, and maintain your digital life with practical guidance tailored to your goals, priorities, and pace.

Why should I choose twelve sessions instead of three?

Three sessions are an excellent choice for people who want monthly guidance while working through the Initial Cleanup phase. The twelve-session package provides more frequent guidance, regular accountability, and ongoing implementation support. Many clients find that weekly conversations help them build momentum, stay focused, and complete the Digital Life Management System™ with greater confidence.

Do I have to meet every week?

No. Your sessions are yours to schedule however you'd like before they expire. While we generally recommend meeting once per week because it provides the greatest momentum during the Initial Cleanup phase, you're free to choose the schedule that best fits your goals, priorities, and availability.

Should I complete the courses while using these sessions?

Yes. Many clients work through the Digital Life Management courses between sessions, then use their meetings with their Digital Life Strategy Advisor to review progress, ask questions, and receive personalized guidance tailored to their own digital lives.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Which workshop topics can we choose from?

You may choose one of three workshops:

  • Digital Organization

  • Digital Safety

  • Digital Legacy & Estate Planning

Each workshop represents one month of the Digital Life Management System™ Initial Cleanup phase and is designed to stand on its own as a practical educational experience.

How do we choose the right workshop?

Consider which topic is most relevant to your audience and organizational goals. Digital Organization is a strong starting point for broad audiences. Digital Safety focuses on practical protection and recovery. Digital Legacy & Estate Planning is well suited to audiences interested in preparedness, caregiving, retirement, or future life transitions.

We can also discuss the best fit during the planning process.

Can the workshop be adapted for our audience?

Yes. Every booking includes a private 30-minute planning session. We will discuss your audience, goals, preferred emphasis, and relevant questions so the workshop better reflects the people attending.

The workshop will remain grounded in the established Digital Life Management System™ framework rather than becoming a completely different presentation.

How long is the complete engagement?

Your booking includes:

  • One 30-minute planning session

  • One 60-minute live workshop

The planning session and workshop are scheduled separately.

How is the workshop delivered?

The workshop is delivered live through Google Meet.

Your organization is responsible for sharing the meeting information with registered participants and helping ensure they can access the event.

Can participants ask questions?

Yes. The workshops are designed to be engaging and practical. Participants may ask questions during the presentation, and the workshop includes time for discussion.

How many people can attend?

The workshop can support organizations and groups of different sizes. We will discuss your expected attendance during the planning session so we can prepare the most appropriate delivery approach.

Do participants need technical knowledge?

No. The workshops are designed for everyday adults and do not require technical, cybersecurity, legal, or financial expertise.

Is the Digital Legacy & Estate Planning Workshop legal advice?

No. The workshop provides educational guidance for organizing digital information, documenting decisions, and preparing for future transitions. It does not replace advice from an attorney, financial advisor, tax professional, or other qualified professional.

What is the difference between the Workshop and Workshop Series?

The single Workshop focuses on one topic: Digital Organization, Digital Safety, or Digital Legacy & Estate Planning.

The Workshop Series includes all three topics and provides a more complete introduction to the Digital Life Management System™ across the full Initial Cleanup phase.

Can we book another workshop later?

Yes. Organizations may begin with one workshop and later book either of the remaining topics. You may also choose the complete Workshop Series if you want to provide all three workshops as a connected educational program.

What is the difference between this product and the Custom Workshop Retainer?

The single Workshop uses one of the three established Digital Life Management workshop topics, with reasonable adaptation based on your audience.

The Custom Workshop Retainer is intended for organizations that want Haven Smith & Company to develop a new workshop around a specific Digital Life Management topic, audience, or organizational objective.

When will we schedule the planning session?

After the workshop is purchased, we will contact you to arrange the planning session and discuss possible dates for the live workshop.

Do participants receive access to the complete courses?

Course access is not included with the workshop unless it is specifically stated in your agreement.

Participants may continue learning independently through Haven Smith & Company courses and resources after the event.

HOW THE SERIES FITS INTO THE DIGITAL LIFE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM™

The Complete Initial Cleanup Framework

The Digital Life Management System™ helps people organize, protect, prepare, and maintain the digital information, tools, and responsibilities that support modern life.

The Workshop Series presents the complete three-month Initial Cleanup phase through three connected educational experiences:

Workshop One — Organize

Participants learn how to bring greater structure to their accounts, financial information, files, devices, contacts, and important records.

Workshop Two — Protect

Participants learn practical strategies for strengthening account protection, recovery planning, backups, monitoring, devices, and everyday digital safety habits.

Workshop Three — Prepare

Participants learn how to document digital assets, organize important records, identify trusted people, and prepare their digital lives for emergencies and future transitions.

Together, the three workshops provide a clear introduction to the complete Digital Life Management System™ rather than treating digital organization, safety, and preparedness as unrelated topics.

WHY CHOOSE THE WORKSHOP SERIES?

One Connected Program for Modern Digital Life

Most educational programs focus on one narrow digital topic. The Digital Life Management Workshop Series helps participants see how organization, protection, and preparedness work together.

Organizations choose the complete series to:

✓ Provide a broader and more useful educational experience

✓ Help participants build knowledge progressively across three workshops

✓ Connect digital organization, safety, and future planning

✓ Give people practical strategies they can begin using immediately

✓ Support employees, members, clients, families, or communities through one consistent framework

✓ Encourage stronger habits rather than one-time awareness

✓ Introduce participants to a long-term approach they can continue using after the series ends

WHAT EACH WORKSHOP COVERS

Workshop One — Digital Organization

Participants learn how to build the organizational foundation of a well-managed digital life.

Topics include:

✓ Digital accounts and email organization

✓ Financial accounts and recurring relationships

✓ Files, cloud storage, and digital records

✓ Devices and important contacts

✓ Digital inventories and documentation

✓ Practical maintenance habits

The workshop helps participants understand what they have, where important information belongs, and how to make their digital lives easier to manage.

Workshop Two — Digital Safety

Participants build on the organizational foundation by learning how to strengthen the protections around the information and tools they use every day.

Topics include:

✓ Important account protections

✓ Password and authentication practices

✓ Recovery planning

✓ Financial account monitoring

✓ Files, backups, and data recovery

✓ Devices, browsers, and communications

✓ Long-term digital safety maintenance

The workshop focuses on practical protection rather than technical cybersecurity training.

Workshop Three — Digital Legacy & Estate Planning

Participants learn how to prepare their digital information, decisions, and relationships for emergencies and future life transitions.

Topics include:

✓ Digital assets and important accounts

✓ Financial information and recurring responsibilities

✓ Files, photos, and digital records

✓ Devices and communication history

✓ Trusted people and important contacts

✓ Dependent and business information

✓ Digital legacy review and maintenance

The workshop complements traditional estate planning by helping participants organize the practical digital information that trusted people may one day need.

HOW THE WORKSHOP SERIES WORKS

Step One — Planning Session

We will meet for 30 minutes before the series to discuss your organization, audience, goals, preferred emphasis, expected attendance, and any questions you would like addressed.

This conversation helps us prepare a connected series that reflects your audience while remaining grounded in the complete Digital Life Management System™ framework.

Step Two — Three Live Workshops

The series includes three live, 60-minute workshops delivered through Google Meet.

Each workshop builds on the previous one, giving participants time to understand one part of the framework before moving to the next.

Participants are encouraged to ask questions and connect the material to their own digital lives throughout the series.

Step Three — Continue Learning

Participants leave each workshop with practical next steps and a clearer understanding of what to address next.

After the series, they can continue learning through Haven Smith & Company courses, resources, strategy sessions, and the complete Digital Life Management System™ when appropriate.

WHAT PARTICIPANTS WILL GAIN

A More Complete Understanding of Their Digital Lives

WHO THE WORKSHOP SERIES IS FOR

Designed for Organizations That Want a Complete Educational Program

The Digital Life Management Workshop Series can support audiences including:

✓ Businesses and employee education programs

✓ Professional associations

✓ Chambers of Commerce

✓ Nonprofit and community organizations

✓ Libraries

✓ Parent and caregiver organizations

✓ Retirement and senior-living communities

✓ Faith communities

✓ Educational organizations

✓ Small-business networks

✓ Client education programs

✓ Organizations supporting families through major life transitions

IS THE WORKSHOP SERIES RIGHT FOR YOUR ORGANIZATION?

The Series Is a Strong Fit If You Want To...

✓ Provide more than a one-time educational event

✓ Give participants a complete introduction to Digital Life Management

✓ Help people connect organization, protection, and preparedness

✓ Offer practical education without requiring technical knowledge

✓ Build learning progressively across several sessions

✓ Support participants through everyday responsibilities and major life transitions

✓ Introduce a framework people can continue using after the series

✓ Provide a cohesive program rather than three unrelated presentations

WHY ORGANIZATIONS CHOOSE THE COMPLETE SERIES

One workshop can create awareness around an important topic. Three connected workshops create a more complete understanding.

The Digital Life Management Workshop Series gives participants time to learn each part of the framework, reflect on their own digital lives, apply practical recommendations, and return with new questions as the program progresses.

Rather than leaving participants with isolated tips, the series introduces one clear approach for organizing, protecting, preparing, and maintaining the digital responsibilities that support modern life.

BEFORE YOUR WORKSHOP SERIES

After booking, we will contact you to arrange the planning session and begin coordinating the three workshop dates.

During the planning session, we will review:

✓ Your audience and expected attendance

✓ Your goals for the complete series

✓ The needs and interests of participants

✓ Scheduling and Google Meet logistics

✓ The recommended spacing between workshops

✓ Questions or concerns you would like addressed

✓ Relevant organizational context

The three workshops may be scheduled in the cadence that best fits your organization. We generally recommend allowing participants some time between workshops to reflect on and begin applying what they have learned.

Can we begin with one workshop and add the others later?

We will work with you to understand your audience, define the learning goals, select the right subject matter, and create a polished workshop built around your organization’s priorities.

Custom Planning • Workshop Development • Live Remote Delivery

A WORKSHOP BUILT AROUND YOUR GOALS

Go Beyond an Established Workshop Topic

The standard Digital Life Management Workshops introduce Digital Organization, Digital Safety, or Digital Legacy & Estate Planning through established presentations.

The Custom Workshop Retainer is for organizations that need a different topic, a specialized audience focus, or a more tailored educational experience.

Your custom workshop may draw from one or more areas of Digital Life Management, including organization, digital safety, fraud awareness, preparedness, digital legacy planning, family responsibilities, professional life, small-business needs, or another related subject.

Rather than fitting your audience into an existing presentation, we will define the right workshop around the people you serve and the outcomes you want to support.

HOW THE WORKSHOP FITS INTO THE DIGITAL LIFE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM™

Custom Education Built on a Practical Framework

The Digital Life Management System™ helps people organize, protect, prepare, and maintain the digital information, tools, and responsibilities that support modern life.

Your custom workshop will be developed within that broader framework while focusing on the topic, audience, and circumstances most relevant to your organization.

This gives you the benefit of a cohesive educational approach without limiting your workshop to one of the three established course topics.

WHEN TO CHOOSE A CUSTOM WORKSHOP

A Custom Workshop May Be the Right Fit If You...

✓ Need a topic that is not covered by an established Digital Life Management Workshop

✓ Want to combine material from Digital Organization, Digital Safety, and Digital Legacy & Estate Planning

✓ Serve an audience with specialized responsibilities or concerns

✓ Need examples and guidance developed for a particular profession, community, or life stage

✓ Want a workshop built around an organizational initiative or educational objective

✓ Need new curriculum rather than modest adjustments to an existing presentation

✓ Want a polished educational experience that reflects your organization’s priorities

Step One — Discovery

We begin by learning about your organization, audience, goals, and the problem the workshop should help address.

We will discuss:

✓ Who will attend

✓ What participants already know

✓ What you want them to understand or do differently

✓ The topics and questions most relevant to the group

✓ The appropriate depth and emphasis

This may include defining:

✓ The workshop title and central topic

✓ Learning objectives

✓ Core sections and supporting concepts

✓ Relevant examples and scenarios

✓ Participant activities or discussion prompts

✓ Supporting resources

✓ Recommended next steps

Step Three — Research & Development

Haven Smith & Company will research, outline, write, and design the custom workshop.

The final workshop will be grounded in the Digital Life Management framework while reflecting the needs and context established during discovery.

Step Four — Review & Preparation

Before delivery, we will confirm the final workshop direction, review event logistics, and prepare for the audience and format.

Step Five — Live Workshop

The completed workshop will be presented live through Google Meet, with opportunities for participant questions and discussion.

WHAT YOUR ORGANIZATION RECEIVES

WHY HAVEN SMITH & COMPANY

Digital Life Management Education That Connects the Pieces

Modern digital responsibilities do not exist in isolation.

Accounts affect security. Devices affect access. Financial relationships affect everyday life. Files and records affect both current responsibilities and future preparedness. Families, businesses, and trusted people often depend on information stored across all of them.

Haven Smith & Company brings these areas together through a practical Digital Life Management framework. Your custom workshop will be developed with the same emphasis on clarity, usefulness, and long-term resilience that guides our courses, strategy sessions, and established workshops.

BEFORE DEVELOPMENT BEGINS

A Clear Scope for a Custom Engagement

The Custom Workshop Retainer begins the planning and development process.

Before substantive development begins, we will confirm the project scope, including:

✓ Workshop topic

✓ Audience

✓ Learning goals

✓ Research and customization requirements

✓ Workshop length and delivery format

✓ Included meetings and review points

✓ Supporting materials

✓ Timeline

✓ Final project fee and payment schedule

Work outside the approved scope may require a revised agreement or additional fee.

CUSTOM WORKSHOP POLICIES

Is the retainer refundable?

Because the retainer reserves development capacity and begins a custom professional engagement, it is nonrefundable once work has started. The specific payment terms, project milestones, and cancellation provisions will be included in your proposal or service agreement before development begins.

Can we change the workshop topic after development begins?

Reasonable refinements may be made during the agreed review process. A major change to the topic, audience, learning objectives, length, or deliverables may require a revised scope, timeline, and fee because it can substantially change the research and development work required.

How many revisions are included?

The number and type of review opportunities will be defined in your proposal. Feedback should be consolidated and provided during the agreed review periods. Additional revision rounds or changes outside the approved scope may require an additional fee.

Can we reschedule the live workshop?

Yes. Rescheduling terms will be included in your service agreement. Because a custom workshop involves reserved preparation and delivery time, adequate advance notice will be required. Late rescheduling, cancellation, or failure to attend may result in the workshop being treated as delivered or may require an additional scheduling fee, depending on the agreement.

Who owns the workshop materials?

Unless otherwise stated in writing, Haven Smith & Company retains ownership of its frameworks, curriculum, slides, workbooks, methods, and workshop materials.

Your organization receives the rights specifically granted in the service agreement for the agreed workshop engagement. Materials may not be reproduced, distributed, recorded, resold, or reused outside the agreed terms without written permission.

Can we record the workshop?

Recording is not automatically included. Any recording request must be discussed and approved in advance. Additional licensing terms or fees may apply based on the intended audience, access period, and use of the recording.

START YOUR CUSTOM WORKSHOP

Create an Educational Experience for the People You Serve

Your organization may already know the topic it wants to address. You may instead have an audience, challenge, or educational goal that needs to be translated into the right workshop.

The Custom Workshop Retainer gives Haven Smith & Company the time and scope to understand that need and build a polished Digital Life Management workshop around it.

Begin the planning process and bring practical, relevant Digital Life Management education to your organization.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How is this different from the single Digital Life Management Workshop?

The single Workshop allows you to choose one established presentation: Digital Organization, Digital Safety, or Digital Legacy & Estate Planning. It includes reasonable adaptation for your audience but does not include the development of new curriculum. The Custom Workshop Retainer is for organizations that need a new topic, a specialized combination of material, or a substantially different workshop developed for their audience and goals.

How is this different from the Workshop Series?

The Workshop Series includes the three established workshops that present the complete Digital Life Management System™ Initial Cleanup framework. The Custom Workshop Retainer develops a workshop around a different subject, audience, or organizational objective.

Do we need to know exactly what workshop we want?

No. You may begin with a clearly defined topic, or you may come to us with an audience, challenge, or educational objective. The discovery process will help identify the strongest workshop direction.

Can the workshop combine more than one topic?

Yes. A custom workshop may combine relevant material from Digital Organization, Digital Safety, Digital Legacy & Estate Planning, fraud awareness, family preparedness, small-business responsibilities, or other related areas of Digital Life Management. The final scope must remain realistic for the workshop length and desired depth.

Is the workshop delivered remotely?

Yes. Custom workshops are generally delivered live through Google Meet unless another arrangement is approved in the service agreement.

How long will the custom workshop be?

Workshop length will be defined during scoping based on the topic, audience, goals, and amount of material involved. A focused workshop may fit into a one-hour format. A broader topic may require a longer presentation, multiple workshops, or a custom series.

How long does development take?

The timeline depends on the topic, research required, workshop length, review process, and current availability. Your proposal will include the anticipated development schedule and target delivery date before work begins.

How much does a custom workshop cost?

The final fee depends on the research, development, customization, presentation length, supporting materials, licensing needs, and delivery requirements. The retainer begins the engagement. Any remaining project fee and payment milestones will be explained in the proposal or service agreement.

Can we request participant materials?

Yes. Participant guides, worksheets, checklists, or other supporting resources may be included when appropriate. Their development and permitted use will be defined in the project scope.

Can we reuse the workshop internally?

Internal reuse is not automatically included. Any request to reuse slides, distribute materials, train additional groups, host a recording, or deliver the curriculum independently must be addressed through written licensing terms.

Can participants ask questions?

Yes. Live workshops can include participant discussion and questions. The amount of time available will depend on the presentation length and agreed format.

Is this legal, financial, tax, or cybersecurity advice?

No. Custom workshops provide educational guidance related to Digital Life Management. They do not replace advice from qualified legal, financial, tax, insurance, estate-planning, information-technology, or cybersecurity professionals.

Scheduled email delivery is not currently available. To give the gift card on a future date, select the option to have it emailed to you, then forward or print the gift-card information when you are ready.

Does the recipient have to purchase the product associated with the selected value?

No. The available values correspond to several current Haven Smith & Company offerings, but every gift card represents a dollar amount. The recipient may apply that value toward any eligible purchase available directly through our website.

What if the purchase costs more than the gift card?

The recipient may apply the gift-card balance and pay the remaining amount using another accepted payment method. Multiple gift cards may also be applied to an eligible order.

What if the purchase costs less than the gift card?

Any unused value remains on the gift card and may be applied toward another eligible purchase.

Can the gift card be used for a private session?

A gift card may be used toward an eligible private session purchased directly through the Haven Smith & Company website. The gift card provides payment toward the service; it does not reserve an appointment. Scheduling, availability, cancellation, and rescheduling policies still apply.

Does the gift card expire?

No. Purchased gift cards do not expire, and no inactivity or service fees are deducted from the balance.

Can a discount be applied when purchasing a gift card?

Discounts and promotional codes cannot be applied to the purchase of a gift card. However, an eligible discount may be applied when the recipient later purchases a product or service using the gift card.

What if the gift-card email or code is lost?

Contact Haven Smith & Company through our website. If the original purchase can be verified and the gift card remains active, we can resend the original gift-card email.

Gift Card Policies

Gift cards are issued electronically in U.S. dollars and may be redeemed only for eligible purchases made directly through the Haven Smith & Company website. They may not be used to purchase another gift card, pay for a subscription or recurring charge, or complete a purchase through a third-party platform.

A gift card represents the dollar value selected at the time of purchase. References to particular products or services are provided to help purchasers select an amount and do not guarantee that an offering will remain available or remain at the same price. If prices or offerings change, the gift card retains its unused dollar value.

Gift-card purchases are final except where a refund or cash redemption is required by applicable law. Partially used gift cards cannot be refunded. Refunds approved for purchases originally paid with a gift card will generally be returned to the gift-card balance.

Gift cards are not redeemable for cash except where required by law. Under current California law, a covered gift card with a remaining balance of less than $15 may be redeemed for cash upon request.

Gift-card codes should be protected like cash. Haven Smith & Company is not responsible for delivery problems caused by an inaccurate email address supplied by the purchaser or for value redeemed before a lost or compromised code is reported.

Haven Smith & Company gift cards can be used toward courses, workbooks, private sessions, workshops, and other available products and services. Recipients can choose the support that best fits their needs—whether they want to organize their accounts and records, strengthen their digital safety, or prepare important information for their family and future.

Haven Smith & Company Gift Card
from $49.00

Give someone the freedom to choose practical education, tools, and personal guidance for a well-managed digital life.

Some gifts are enjoyed for a moment. Others make everyday life easier for years to come.

A Haven Smith & Company Digital Gift Card gives the recipient the flexibility to choose what would help them most. They can organize important accounts and records, strengthen their digital safety, prepare information for their family and future, or receive private guidance tailored to their needs.

You provide the gift. They choose where to begin.

What They Can Choose

Gift cards may be applied toward eligible one-time purchases made directly through the Haven Smith & Company website, including:

  • Digital Life Management courses

  • Workbooks, guides, and practical tools

  • Private Digital Strategy Sessions

  • Educational workshops

  • Other available products and services

The available gift-card values correspond to several of our current offerings, but the recipient is not limited to a particular product. Each gift card retains its dollar value and may be applied toward any eligible purchase.

A Practical Gift for Modern Life

Modern life depends on digital accounts, records, devices, and information. Yet most people have never been taught how to manage all of those pieces together.

A Haven Smith & Company gift card gives someone access to calm, practical support without requiring you to decide what they need first. The recipient can select the resource or service that best fits their responsibilities, priorities, and current place in life.

A Thoughtful Choice For

  • Busy professionals and small-business owners

  • Parents managing household and family information

  • Adults helping aging parents

  • Caregivers coordinating important records

  • Someone preparing for a major life change

  • Anyone ready to organize and simplify their digital life

  • Someone who would benefit from private guidance

  • Families beginning digital legacy or estate preparation

Because digital life is personal, the recipient remains in control of what they choose and when they begin.

How It Works

1. Select a value

Choose the gift-card amount you would like to give.

2. Choose the delivery option

At checkout, have the digital gift card emailed directly to the recipient or sent to you for later delivery.

3. Redeem it online

The recipient enters the unique gift-card code when purchasing an eligible product or service through the Haven Smith & Company website.

If the purchase costs less than the available balance, the remaining value stays on the gift card. If the purchase costs more, the recipient may pay the difference using another accepted payment method.
