Most resolutions fade by February, and yours can last all year.
January brings a burst of hope, and then ordinary life comes back. A resolution that felt exciting on the first of the month can feel heavy a few weeks later. That fade is normal, and it says nothing about your willpower.
This deck walks with you through the whole year, one card a week. Each card holds four short exercises, like the importance ruler, an if-then plan, or a habit stack, and four of the cards are conversations to share with a friend or a check-in buddy.
Download the file, print the cards at home, cut them out, and fold each one in half. The screen version and the phone pictures come with it, so this week’s card is always close.
Use the deck on your own, or bring it to work for a team that wants to grow together. Slips are part of the plan, so a whole set of cards helps you start again with kindness.
Every card is built on coaching psychology and the readiness to change.
The cards follow the stages of change model from researchers James Prochaska and Carlo DiClemente. You move from readiness to thinking it over, getting ready, taking action, and keeping it going, and a set of cards for starting again treats a slip as a normal part of the path.
Along the way, the exercises draw on motivational interviewing, self-determination theory, goal-setting research, and habit science, the same tools coaches use with their clients.
Would you like more cards for the year ahead? The Creative Practice deck brings fresh ideas to your work, and the Digital Organization deck starts the year with a tidy digital life.

Read the card’s page at the start of each week. It explains the idea behind the card, lists what you need, and walks through all four exercises.
What is true when you finish the deck.
- You chose a change that matters to you.
- You know which stage of change you are in, and you picked a step that fits.
- You have a plan ready for the hard days.
- A slip turned into a fresh start instead of a reason to quit.
- Your new habits run on their own.
- You kept your resolution all year long.

How do I get the files?
The moment you pay, an email arrives with your download link. Save the files to your own computer and phone. There is no account to create and nothing to log back into.
How do I print the cards?
Open the Print at Home PDF and print it on standard paper. Card stock feels best, and regular paper works too. Cut each card out and fold it in half, and the front and back line up.
Who is the deck for?
Anyone with a goal for the year, on your own or with a team at work. Most exercises need only paper, a pen, a timer, and about half an hour, and you can start in any week of the year.
How is this different from the membership?
This deck is a download you keep and print, so you hold real cards in your hands. The Aha Moments membership is $5 a month, and it lets you play the Aha Moments cards online at havensmith.company/aha.
Is there a printed deck?
A printed deck is coming later. For now, the download lets you print your own cards today.
Can I share the files?
Play with as many people as you like. Please keep the files for yourself and the people you play with, and send friends here to get their own copy.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. Read it, try it, and if it is not what you wanted, write within seven days of buying it. A real person will get back to you soon with your refund.
